George Mason’s Employee Health and Well-Being program (EHW) is committed to providing occupational and individual health services to George Mason University employees in a convenient and affordable manner. Employee Health & Well-Being started in the spring of 2022 and offers a variety of services and resources to support George Mason faculty and staff in their occupational role and personal health goals. Services that are currently offered include:
Medical Services
EHW provides a variety of medical and occupational health services to employees of George Mason University.
TimelyCare for Faculty and Staff
Free, confidential mental health and well-being support.
Elective Services
EHW offers elective services to employees of George Mason University, including ergonomic assessments and elective vaccine clinics.
Training
EHW provides training courses to the George Mason community, including CPR/AED, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Opioid Overdose Response, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
Upcoming Events
International Overdose Awareness Day Resource Fair | August 31
RSR’s Employee Health & Well-Being team will observe International Overdose Awareness Day by offering a free resource fair for the George Mason community in the Johnson Center (dining area kiosks) from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on August 31. The EHW team will share educational materials, have medical and emergency management professionals on-site to answer questions, and hand out free Narcan kits and fentanyl test strips (courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health). EHW also continues to offer routine opioid overdose response training (where they also provide Narcan and test strips while supplies last), in addition to other courses like CPR, first aid, stop the bleed, and active threat training. Well-Body Screening

Learn more about your body’s fat, muscle, water balance, and overall health.
